Lead Primary Classroom Teacher

We're now hiring an experienced leader to join our founding team as the Lead Primary Classroom Teacher for Brilliant and Kind.


Because we open schools year round, we accept applications on a rolling basis. This means that we'll contact you just as soon as we have an opening that looks like it might be a fit for you!


The Lead Primary Classroom Teacher Position


As a member of our starting team, you will design and oversee a model classroom in this Lead Primary Classroom Teacher. Parents will be able to witness what is possible for their child via your efforts when true, high-quality Montessori is present in the prepared environment. You will receive a complete collection of premium supplies from reputable suppliers along with a budget for your classroom so you can customize it.


Just finished training? Our great staff of Montessori-trained mentors will be on hand to guide professional development, offer feedback, and aid in the further development of your talents.

We'd love to talk to you if you:


  • Have received a Montessori Diploma/Certificate for the 3-6 age group, or are interested in becoming certified
  • Have experience with the appropriate ages in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, VPK, or Kindergarten class
  • Help children by giving them the tools to become independent
  • Are open to guiding your colleagues, and be guided by them in turn

Assistant Lead Classroom Teacher

We're now hiring an experienced leader to join our founding team as the Assistant Lead Classroom Teacher for Brilliant and Kind.


The Assistant Lead Classroom Teacher Position


We are looking for a passionate Assistant Teacher that is adaptive and excited about working with kids.

  • This position is a fantastic way to start out and learn more about Montessori education! Many of our Assistant Teachers eventually advance to become Lead Teachers.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-6 or ages 6-12
  • Have a certified background check (CBR) or prefer if registered with ORO


Must have 1 of the following:


  • 20 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units OR 10 ECE + 6 months experience in a certified center OR +1 year working in a certified center OR Step 8 or higher in Georgia Registry
  • Ability to work well with other adults
  • Growth mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with the Montessori approach to education is preferred, but not required

  • Have a high School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of Front Desk or Receptionist experience * Welcoming and approachable personality
  • Will represent Brilliant and Kind in a positive and proactive manner
  • Will interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including Administration, Faculty, Families, Friends, Vendors, etc.
  • Will handle multiple tasks with confidence and accuracy
  • Pay attention to detail and initiative in problem solving
  • Will maintain strict confidentiality
  • Are self-motivated with professional demeanor and presence, positive attitude, and strong work ethic * Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Will contribute to the school environment in a positive and proactive manner
  • Are able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and ability to sit for extended periods of time

Student Teacher Volunteers

Brilliant and Kind truly appreciates our student teacher volunteers that serve in Georgia. Volunteering is rewarding; whether supporting the school office, participating in classroom activities, monitoring the playground or lunchroom, or chaperoning a field trip. Student teacher Volunteers enrich the educational experience for all Brilliant and Kind students.


Brilliant and Kind is proud to offer many different opportunities to fulfill college requirements in your pursuit of becoming a certified teacher! Student teaching offers college students the best introduction to the education field. Under the supervision of one of our highly qualified certified teachers, Student Teachers will learn about the teaching skills and methods for the classroom, observe classroom management, and gain knowledge of the Montessori Pedagogy. Brilliant and Kind is happy to aid you on this journey.

  • Currently enrolled in an early childhood development program at an accredited college in Georgia
